LAN Engineer

Campus LAN Engineer who enjoys maintaining and installing networks for customers. The ideal candidate is characterized by a sense of duty, a well-groomed appearance and sound know-how in the following areas:
- Cisco Switching: experience in design, implementation and maintenance of Cisco Switches
- Meraki Access Points: Knowledge in configuring, deploying and managing Meraki Wireless Access Points to establish reliable and high performance WLAN networks
.- Security know-how in the Fortinet area: Knowledge of the configuration and administration of Fortigate firewalls is an advantage
- Certifications: CCNA or CCNP certification is required to demonstrate competency and expertise in the above areas. 


The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed training or studies in IT or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in network technology, ideally in the area of campus LAN.
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and team spirit.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to customer sites.
- Language skills: German (fluent) and English (good) are required to communicate with international customers
