For a bank in Zurich we are seeking a DevOps Engineer with good skills across Java and Linux 

As a member of the Linux Web Application Platform Engineering Team you are responsible for
the engineering and operation of the central application platform (Java EE and web infrastructure).
  • Supporting projects with the integration of their applications
  • Supporting and advising projects in questions of: System architecture, integration,
  • system automation, performance, security and analysis/diagnosis.

  • - Analytical and conceptual way of thinking
  • - Independent and precise way of working
  • - Willingness to work on call and outside normal working hours
  • (evenings, weekends)
  • - Very high quality awareness
  • - Resilient, team/customer-oriented and communicative personality

Requirements (technology
e.g. Java, Linux etc.):
  • - Good developer skills in Java and Python
  • - Good knowledge of automated CI/CD pipelines and their tools
  • - Sound knowledge of/in
  • - Linux/RHEL, Shell Scripting, Ansible, Git, Web & Application Server (mainly Java EE and SE)
  • - Knowledge of network, DNS, load balancer, TLS/X.509, HTTP
  • - Experience in the integration of software and the operation of application platforms and systems
  • - Proven experience in the following areas is an advantage:
  • - RedHat JBoss, Ap
