2 x Freelance Battery Modelling Engineers required!!
12 months initially + long term extensions - up to €600p/d - English Speaking - 2 days onsite - Brussels location - NO fully remote working possible but very flexible working with the onsite need.
You will be working on 1 of 3 exciting new projects within this global organisation that is leading the way in their field.
Job description:
• Research the latest battery modelling approach to develop new and improve existing methods
• Understand existing in house methodology
• Literature review, contacting companies and joining conferences
• Implement digital approach to design and optimize future battery system
• Predict battery ageing by simulation
• Assess battery cooling and thermal propagation by simulation
• Apply the methodology to local battery cells and packs
• Apply AI approach and machine learning to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Analyse simulation results and test data to draw conclusions
Key Requirements:
• Battery electro-chemical engineering
• Battery thermal management
• Battery modelling
• 1D and 3D thermal model
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• MATLAB, Simulink, Python, GT power, Comsol, CCM+
