Description

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to business strategy around pipeline development
  • Select and prioritize projects and negotiate important contracts
  • Ensure that PM standards are maintained across the business
  • Strive for a customer-centric focus throughout the entire organization
  • Lead for project set-up and coordinate planning for projects in conjunction with all the stakeholders.
  • In partnership with Business development Head, he/she will be responsible to develop the project pipeline and establish the Current Sales Price in line with market expectations
  • Identify and convert new projects within the existing customer portfolio to meet a turn-over target.
  • Be accountable for evaluating value delivery of each project
  • Set-up governances to review and track project portfolio and departmental performance. He/she will establish and follow dashboards and KPIs
  • Implement and enforce a project tracking tool (Smartsheet)
  • Manage a team of +/- 10 Project Managers
  • Support PM/PLs to plan, schedule and track project deliverables using appropriate tools; methods and techniques
  • Ensure consistent management of project resource allocation in consultation with PM/PLs concerned department

Qualifications

  • Master or PhD in Biochemistry/Biology or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Minimum 10 years Project management experience and proven track records of success Knowledge and application of project management tools, methods and techniques, PMP, Prince2 certification is a must
  • English French bilingual
  • Experience in leading cross functional projects teams
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills
  • Business development (or sales & marketing) experience is an asset for this position
  • Ability to step back and have a holistic approach to anticipate business moves
